You will first have your encounter with the magical mountain gorillas on the 3rd day of your triple gorilla trekking safari. After an early energizing breakfast, you will head out to the park headquarters for a briefing on the day’s activity. This comprises guidelines on what to do before, during, and after the gorilla trekking experience. This run from keeping your voices at a low tone while in the forest, no littering, sticking together as a group, and keeping a safe distance when you encounter the mountain gorillas among others. With a successful verification, you will enter check-in at your lodge for the evening and a well-waited dinner. Relax throughout the evening and get ready for your second encounter with the mountain gorillas.
Just like your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi, you will start with an early breakfast before heading to the park offices for briefing and gorilla group assignment. The briefing process is the same with regulations like keeping a safe distance of 7 meters away from the gorillas, avoid from flash photography, sticking to the group, and not littering the park. After heading out with a packed lunch and enough water on an adventure of encountering the endangered mountain gorillas. The quest might take between 2 to 7 hours based on the movement of your allocated family since it was last located in the morning. On meeting the gorilla family, you are strictly permitted one hour with them.
