Be picked from the hotel or airport in Kigali and immediately transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park in Uganda. This park is known to host 53.9% of total mountain gorilla population in the world with 19 habituated gorilla families. The park as well consists of both small and big mammals like forest elephants, buffalos and over 300 bird species. The journey to Bwindi is amazing since you will be enjoying unequalled scenic landscapes and surrounding hills, tea plantations, farmlands, forests and much more. Arrive in the evening and head to the lodge for relaxation and night stay.
Head to park offices in the morning and briefing will come first before the actual gorilla trekking experience. You will be told about the dos and don’ts to follow while in the forest.
