1 Days Bisoke Hike
Tour Overview
This tour is designed to both beginners and expert hikers to explore Mount Bisoke. This is a volcano found in the Virunga ranges (Virunga / Ibirunga massif). Therefore, the tour suits travelers who are interested in hiking through rough and steep edges and they have less time in Rwanda. We recommend hikers to hire potters to carry extra luggage. The summit towers to 3,711 meters above sea level, and you will cross different series of vegetation.
Detailed Itinerary
Our well knowledgeable tour guide will welcome you or meet you at any agreed point, either at the airport or hotel in Kigali city. Attend a briefing session and later transfer to Virunga national park which is located in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
You will cross the border between Rwanda and D.R. Congo while enjoying beautiful sceneries of the country side of both countries, dotted with romantic hills. Go through the immigration procedures at the border; checking the Visa, passports, etc. Check in at your place of accommodation which will mark the end of this 1st day.
