Detailed Itinerary
Fly from Arusha on this day to Entebbe Airport in Uganda where you will be welcomed by the tour driver guide who will take you through the guidelines to follow while on this safari. You are advised to board an early morning or late-night flight such that you can be at Entebbe Airport in the morning at around 06:00hours. After you will transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park where you will spend 2 nights. This is an amazing national park is located is South Western Uganda and known for homing the endangered mountain gorillas. You will reach in the evening and this will be after almost 8 to 9 hours’ drive.
Wake up gladly to enjoy the best African experience of gorilla trekking which will begin with briefing at the park office and the day will begin with heavy breakfast at the lodge. Briefing is so important and you will be able enjoy the experience since the guidelines are well explained. Among others are, don’t feed wild animals, don’t litter, don’t make noise while in the park. Your will be guided with a park ranger guide together with other trekkers and start the search of the endangered mountain gorillas. Spot different wildlife while in the forest and on locating a gorilla group, spend a maximum of an hour while in the presence which will create memories. After, trek back to the lodge and have a leisure time with an option of taking a community tour to the Batwa and experience this local culture.
Head back to Entebbe after breakfast where you will have a great view of the surrounding such as the terraced landscapes, farmlands, plantations and much more. You will have a stopover at the point where the equator crosses Uganda in Kayabwe where you will take photos of memories, lunch and later on proceed and find your way to Entebbe and fly back home.
